Rhymes and Sounds

Make time to sing rhymes everyday. This helps children learn new words and become ready to read.

Try this rhyme today...

Create 1

Drawing, painting, cutting and sticking are all important to help your child become ready to write.

They are a lot of fun and good for the imagination too!

Make a rainbow picture. Can you name all the colours in the rainbow? Which is your favourite?

We have been using Number Blocks to help children learn how to count.

This week we are focusing on the number 3.

Watch this video and then try these challenges

  • Count 3 plates, spoons and cups out of the cupboard?
  • Jump, skip, hop or spin 3 times.
  • Climb 3 stairs
  • Clap 3 times.

Keeping Fit

Its really important to keep your bodies strong and get plenty of fresh air.

Make sure you get out for some exercise together.

You could try a walk, scoot or bike ride today.

If you have to stay inside, click the link below for today's PE lesson.
